Description: Going To Houston Consignment. KM#932 is a 1/2-zecchino from the papacy of Benedict XIV, who served as Pope from August 17, 1740 until is death May 3, 1758. This is a fabulous gold type coin, slightly circulated according to NGC (AU-58), but offering all of the definition and golden glamour of a mint-state example. Rather well centered for a crudely struck open-collar minor gold, the obverse was struck accurately on the flan, and the lack of a completele border seems to be due to uneven thickness of the planchet.
