Description: A stunning, visual treat for the collector, and ideal for type as the first-dated Barber dime, this 1892 features sensational, colorful album toning on the obverse, replete with electric-green, cobalt, indigo, violet-gold and cinnamon-orange bands that frame the portrait. The reverse has become far more peacefully toned with olive-grey and powdery ebony-blonde accents. Almost certainly a "thumb buster" album survivor, the obverse is fully lustrous with those wonderful, gleaming colors while from the patina on the reverse has thickened to the point of subduing the luster on that side.
