Description: Barry Hopper Collection. Two hundred and ten Jefferson nickels from 1938 through 2013 bolster this expansive collection that is entirely housed in a Dansco album. Grades range anywhere from Almost Uncirculated through Gem Uncirculated with Gem proof issues sprinkled in. Cartwheeling luster adheres to most of the mint state issues with dep steely greys and bright and blustery silvers clashing together. The proof issues boast frosted subjects that are nicely contrasted by deeply proofed fields with some hints of electric color to boot. Anyone thinking of obtaining a Jefferson nickel collection needs to look no further (ck).
