Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1913 Matte Proof PCGS PR-64RB
Lot Number: 614
Description: The No Land Consignment. The consignor has owned this coin for nearly forty years, and it has only ever been certified once, within the present holder. Because there is no "orange" color designation for copper, "red-brown" is intended to convey what is essentially pecan-orange color, albeit with a large splash of crimson-gold on the reverse. The glossy texture only helps shore up the numeric grade, as the surface gleams nicely beneath a lamp, exposing wonderful, laser-sharp detail and pleasing matte texture for perusal. While not claiming the coin is undergraded at the PR-64 RB grade, observers should be delighted by the non-abraded appearance and clean, carbon-free surface.
