Description: A nearly ideal 4-diamond strike raises up virtually all of the possible details, including the troublesome areas of the lower wreath, producing a Centennial coin of outstanding sharpness. Probably a third of the original mint red remains, succumbing to juicy burgundy-brown patina that meshes beautifully with PCGS's "red-brown" assessment. The cataloger could find no real hints of post-mint contact, suggesting a premium quality coin for the MS-64 grade.
