Lot Title: 1835 Bust half-dollar AU-55, and an 1872 Seated Liberty dollar XF-40, both PCGS
Lot Number: 516
Description: Many bidders will be strongly drawn to the 1835 half-dollar, since it features a narrow, vivid ring of indigo, cinnamon-gold and ebony-blue around the obverse, as well as very fair luster. The broad central areas are bright and show evidence of only modest wear. Iron-grey patina has settled over most of the 1872 Seated Liberty dollar, although in this case as well, traces of album toning have begun to form around both sides. A nicer type pairing within this two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
