Description: Joanna H. Fogle Collection. Doubled-die reverse, type-2/type-2 (1878-S Trade dollar). The surface is very white due to a complete lack of patina, but that makes it all the more easy to see the nicely doubled-die readily evident on the reverse. The 1878 7TF features adequate luster across its equally white surface, and a strike that borders upon perfection. Two coin lot.
