Description: Wayte Raymond album collections do not often come up for sale and often command a premium due to their scarcity. Even though this set is missing several key components it is certainly a very attractive start to any potential Flying Eagle/Indian Head small cents collection. Lovely shades of tan and deep cocoa browns encompass nearly the entire collection with only three noticeably cleaned examples present. Grades range anywhere from Good through choice Almost Uncirculated. The most noteworthy examples are as follows: 1857 Flying Eagle (VF), 1858 Small Letters Flying Eagle (VF), 1859 (VF), 1860 (VF), 1861 (VF), 1862 (VF+), 1863 (VF+), 1864 Bronze (VF), 1867 (VF), 1868 (VG), 1873 (XF), 1875 (VF), 1878 (XF), and an 1885 (AU). There is no question that this set was put together many moons ago and is in need of someone to complete its destiny (ck)!
