Description: Rose Llywelyn Collection. Light greyish patina rests over the 1879-S, which explains the "circulated "disclaimer imprinted on the GSA chip, because such coins were often assumed to be "less than uncirculated" when originally sold if they were hazy in this fashion. Obvious mint bag color entirely suffuses the obverse of 1880-S, this again being the likely influence for the "circulated" disclaimer. 1882-S actually appears to be a slider AU-58 example, although the heavy bagmarks, not typically seen for the date, could be entirely induced by Treasury storage. Three coin lot.
