Description: L.C. Consignment. Indian Head quarter eagle gold coins are popularly collected due to their iconic design and there short series run of only fifteen total issues. The only real road block in this series is the vaunted 1911-D and this lot presents a wonderful opportunity. PCGS has certified this example as AU-58 and it has the look of a Mint State example. Fully struck and fully lustrous surfaces gives this particular issue a very strong appeal. Housed in an older style holder, there is no question that this coin is conservatively graded when compared to similar examples in more recent holders. CAC should be viewing this coin very soon (ck)!
