Description: NGC declined to offer a straight grade, but suffice it to say that between both major grading services, exactly seven mint-state instances exist. That places the present "UNC details" example within some highly esteemed company, even with the proviso of "cleaned" shown plainly on the slab. The cleaning is of only moderate nature, ascribed more by glossy sheen that actual abrasive effects, although it does cause the coin's appeal to lack three-dimensional depth. That being said, the details are noticeably sharp, much better struck than a typical Charlotte emission.
