Lot Title: Twenty Silver Commemorative half-dollars in two Wayte Raymond pages
Lot Number: 106
Description: Two Wayte-Raymond album pages have been dedicated to commemorative half-dollars, most of them evidently mint-state. Obviously-circulated pieces include only four: 1893 Columbian (VF), 1915 Panama-Pacific (AU), 1920 Maine (AU), all of these nicely toned, and a 1925 Stone Mountain (AU). Remarkable, vivid toning for which the Wayte-Raymond albums are famed include the 1920 Pilgrim, 1925 Lexington, and 1934 Maryland; however, many other pieces also display attractive color. Of special note are a 1922 Grant that may make the "choice" level, a gorgeous 1936 Robinson, and an exceedingly attractive 1937 Roanoke. Twenty coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
