Description: 19 graded MS-62, 110 higher at PCGS. The collector who treasures truly original coins will find nothing to complain about for this seemingly undergraded, richly endowed 1914. Potent luster tumbles and growls from beneath some highly prominent obverse toning, incorporating bold toast-gold, ebony and tobacco-grey, while the reverse has become heavily infused with these same colors, and the overall scheme smacks of mint-set toning. Fewer than a dozen light, old bagmarks tickle the cheek but are virtually trivialized by the marvelous patina.
