Description: NGC has proclaimed this trio to fall very close to the "choice" level, and some brief commentary serves to support this contention. First is 1900 (substantial luster beneath fragile almond-grey, with light reedmarks at the obverse center), and second is 1903 (modestly struck and mostly beige with wide swaths of navy-blue). Gorgeous, original steam-grey patina lays over 1905-S but cannot fully suppress some surprisingly potent underlying luster. Three coin lot.
