Description: Overton-105 features an evenly spaced and engraved date with nicely formed digits, and a number of tiny die lumps, or dots, in the field above the eagle's neck, and to help ensure accurate attribution, the left side of "I" in PLURIBUS lines up with the left side of "T" above. Production quality for 1822 varied, but the date can often be found "nice", as this plentifully lustrous beige-white example attests. Somewhat flamboyant luster on the reverse echoes the near-mint grade assigned by NGC, and a fair amount of sparkling white activity flutters between the obverse stars. A reasonably well struck example that completely lacks distraction.
