Description: The Before Collection. Earlier dates comprise this pairing and they offer plenty of sharpness to go with the appeal of "teens" half-dollars. 1817 (XF/cleaned) does retain a bit of flowline luster, but the uneven obverse luster is due to unexpected wiping on that side. 1818 O-112 (XF/whizzed) has been skillfully retoned so as to inhibit the signs of wire-brushed texture, and the coin has surprisingly nice eye-appeal. Two coin lot.
