Description: Browning-1 attributes by merely observing long arrowheads on the reverse, since a single obverse die was used for all die-marriages for 1832. Die-state "B" can be ascertained by noting a small patch of die rust between A3 and the top of the arrowhead, and this seems to be the common state for B-1. The surface flashes with steely-bright coloration overall, yielding to some somewhat attractive gunmetal-grey and indigo hues toward the outer extremities of either side. Bluntly struck as always for B-1, although every star manages to elicit full segments from the obverse die.
