Lot Title: 1942 Proof Set in a Capital Plastics holder
Lot Number: 676
Description: All six coins in this 1942 proof set have matched toning to some degree, and all of them have a look that screams originality. Housed in a Capital Plastics holder, this set's best coin is likely the half-dollar, which has scattered colorful toning across a blemish-free obverse, while the reverse is free of any distracting marks at all. A true Gem. Not allowing the Walker to take the entire spotlight, the Lincoln cent and silver War nickel have vivid rainbow toning on both sides. Lot viewing is highly recommended to completely appreciate the originality and eye appeal of this great set (ls).

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
