Description: Unless he has stumbled upon the correct section of the Red Book, most collectors are not aware of "the other" United States branch mint which operated in Manila, beginning in 1920, and issued the seldom-seen so-called "Wilson dollars" upon opening. This is a superlative, purely original example that retains one hundred percent of the toast-brown and lavender-grey patina that can only develop undisturbed over the ebb and flow of decades of time. An exquisite example with incomparable detail and excellent collector appeal.
