Description: T-39 poses a milkmaid on the left, and the upper central vignette displays a fine rendition of a steam locomotive, with exhaust flowing backward toward a faraway steamboat. Five of the notes grade CU-63, and four grade CU-62, with significant quality advantages discernible for the "choice" examples. These are fairly well centered and have excellent, flat paper, while the (slightly) lesser examples may show minor rippling or erratic trimming. An outstanding nine note lot.
