Description: Gentle Water Ripples Collection. Collector appeal: "great", mostly by virtue of inclusion of all circulation-strike dates, including keys. This is, of course, the killer album within any such collection and it is with great pleasure that the cataloger notices inclusion of every non-proof candidate, but this also means highlights are plentiful. These could include: 1888-S (AU/cleaned), 1889-CC (VF/rim damage/cleaned, with the rim damage visible as dings at 10:00), 1890-CC (AU/cleaned, probably prooflike originally), 1891-CC "spitting eagle" (AU/minor rim dings, but the dings are barely noticeable within the album), 1892-CC (XF), 1892-S (VF), 1893 (AU/dipped), 1893-CC (VF), 1893-O (Fine), 1893-S (VG/obverse mark, which is simply a dig beneath the eye, but also probably a light overall cleaning yet this is a genuine example of the King), 1894 (XF/cleaned), 1894-S (XF), 1895-O (XF/dipped), and 1895-S (VF/cleaned). A sizable selection of much better dates and an album of profound difficulty, as anyone who has attempted completion knows.
