Description: That graded MS-64 is an unusual offering due to the remarkable toning scheme on the obverse. This side has become ninety-five percent covered in astounding deep, dark ebony oil-slick toning relieved by a mere flash of brilliant white that artfully illuminates the date. It is quite an astonishing coin, for sure. Accompanying is a Gem example, fully white on both sides and struck very near the level of maximum definition. Quite a lot to interest the GSA collector within this two coin lot.
