Description: D.W. Consignment. Bolender-28, BB-118 (R.3) can easily be ascertained by noting that "N" in UNITED was struck over a blundered "I", visible as a thick, extra outline of the left leg of the corrected letter. This die-state also features a recognizable series of die cracks that emanate from the rim beneath "9" in the date. PCGS notes "cleaned" on the slab, which correctly connotes the glossy appearance and somewhat flat coral-grey color, but the visual appeal should not be underrated. There is more than ample definition for the "extremely fine" level, including extensive delineation of the hair tresses and a thorough complement of feathers in both of the eagle's wings.
