Description: Beautiful, vintage golden hue fills the surface of 1895-S and fulfills expectations for a nearly choice example, although quite a few abrasions can be blamed for limiting the grade to MS-62. 1896-S positively gleams with brightness that is a trifle overly bright, but far from unattractive given the blistering, lustrous activity throughout. Both of these are nicely struck within this two coin lot.
