The type collector who requires a Carson City ten for his or her collection inevitably gravitates to 1891-CC as it provides the best availability of finer examples. A ribbon of sparkling luster shines outside the stars and shimmers throughout a considerable portion of the reverse, smacking of the near-mint grade level assigned by PCGS. The pale surface displays a very faint hint of greyish tone streaking down the obverse.
