Description: A pair of gold coins of Spain comprises this offering. The 1788-M 2-escudos (KM# 435.1) represents the inaugural date for the type and has a lower mintage within the series, thus making it a better example at the NGC AU-58 grade. It's an unexpectedly contact-free example that fits the grade well. An 1835-M 80 reales (KM# 577.2) accompanies and features some intriguing peppermint accents around the slightly lustrous golden fields. Two coin lot.
