Lot Title: 1935-S Boone and a 1936-D Oregon Trail, both GEM
Lot Number: 955
Description: The Quantum Collection. Commemorative half-dollars pair up beautifully within this non-certified pairing. Highly intriguing apple-green, chartreuse-rose and lilac-grey colors completely overrun the 1935-S Boone, and a pair of ticks on the portrait are the only technical considerations playing into the grade. For the collector of ultra-original coins, the 1936-D Oregon Trail proves to be a blue-ribbon winner, as stunning iron-grey patina envelopes most of the surface, but is compelled to play nicely with underlying crimson-gold, ruby-chartreuse and jade colors. What an amazing pair of paper-stored specimens within this two coin lot!

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
