Description: The Quantum Collection. 39 graded MS-66, 12 higher at PCGS. Easily recognized as a serious grade-rarity in the commemorative series, the Grant of either sub-type is also nearly impossible to find with attractive toning. These accolades pertain to the present example, and in addition, it possesses an extraordinary strike, as the trunk of the second tree is substantially better delineated than usual. That area is almost always incompletely struck. A very few light, linear abrasions show on Grant's temple but do not detract at all. Mild golden cast surrounds the aluminum-grey center on the obverse, while the reverse displays rather prominent album toning.
