Lot Title: Five certified Silver Commemorative half-dollars
Lot Number: 925
Description: Roman Powers Collection. Collector appeal: "more or less gems". 1935-S San Diego (MS-64) represents the lone PCGS example, all the rest being in NGC holders, and this coin looks every bit like a gem, flashing with near-white satin luster aside from an ebony-violet accent on the reverse. It accompanies: 1936 Delaware (MS-64, remarkably clean obverse and modestly abraded reverse), 1946 Iowa (MS-66, the usual well-preserved white example), 1937 Roanoke (MS-65, eggshell-grey and unusually nice for the type), and 1936-S Texas (MS-65, white obverse with light dandelion toning on the reverse). Five coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
