Lot Title: Four certified AU Capped Bust half-dollars

Description: None has been attributed within this quartet of early half-dollars, giving the lucky high bidder plenty of opportunity to while away a cold and dreary winter 's eve. 1826 (PCGS AU-53) is the lone PCGS representative, and features exceptionally bold detail and slightly more luster than expected of the grade, all the while retaining modest album tone and a nice lack of marks. NGC pieces include: 1824 (AU-50, a trifle dull due to low-contrast medium grey, but decently lustrous), 1825 (AU-53, slightly cleaned but really rather sharp), and 1831 (AU-55, only mild luster for the grade and a few too many stray surface abrasions for the finicky collector). Four coin lot.
