Description: The Quantum Collection. 41 graded MS-64, 21 higher at NGC. Magnificent spearmint and jade-blue surround a central portion that intermingles violet and cobalt into one huge conglomeration of visual splendor. Somehow, this astonishing display is surpassed by the vibrant reverse, which incorporates cobalt and jade-green around similar ultraviolet and cobalt-magenta. Extremely well struck, the grade must be determined by a single hairline in the obverse left field, and a couple of carbon stains on the eagle's head. The mint still struck high quantities of the silver quarter in the second year of the Civil War, with 932,000 recorded.
