Description: 25 graded MS-65+, 34 higher at PCGS. The soaring beauty of the coral-gold hue that engulfs the obverse and much of the reverse takes most of the responsibility for exquisite visual appeal for this plus-worthy dollar. Ocean-blue and citrus twists within the outer peripheral areas frame an exceptionally well-impressed strike. From a technical standpoint, there are a couple of reedmarks on the cheek and a few other wispy abrasions that might seem unexpected at the gem level, but aesthetics certainly carry the day.
