Description: Bert Davies Collection. Collector appeal: "intriguing". Terrific eye-appeal makes the Germany-Frankfurt 1863 taler possibly the jewel of this trio, as it displays the famous building motif on the obverse. This is an amazingly original example that displays only a couple of tiny marks. Next is Italy-Tuscany 1860 lira showing mottled tone and terrific detail for this more unusual type. Finally, modern notions are addressed by the Canada 1955 dollar "arnprior" with a die break connecting "TI" in GRATIA. Three coin lot.
