Description: Bombs And Roses Collection. Lack of the Carson City mintmark makes this a far rarer 1885 dollar than expected, when housed within the famous GSA holder. Soft Pack examples are rarer still, but unfortunately, the grading services combine population reports, regardless of holder type. A flat-out gem caliber example, Liberty's cheek looks completely clean aside from a couple of subtle, shiny patches just inside her eye socket. A blazing rarity of greatly underrated value.
