Description:	Alpha Collection. Rapid Reaction: "a very strong effort". Collector or marketer alike can express appreciation for a collection when it comes so well conceived and put-together. It's readily apparent that the consignor of this terrific 7070 type set had the goal of maximizing quality within feasible budget constraints, the net sum of which is a collection worth inspecting. Half cents include a draped bust in Fine and near mint coronet. Cents include 1803 and 1813 with Fine details but modest micro-porosity, and borderline UNC 1859 Indian cent. A 1909 VDB has amazing color, and the 1865 2-cent appears UNC, as do the 3-cent pieces. Half dimes average very-fine, while the dimes seem to offer AU quality on average -- even the bust dime! Look for a rather appealing 20-cent in XF, a beautiful bust quarter in VF/XF, and XF or nicer examples of the remaining quarters. Half dollars include a VF lettered-edge and XF/bent reeded edge. Better silver dollars include 1859-O (XF+), 1872 (XF), and 1878-S (AU).
