Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1937 Roanoke PCGS MS-67 CACCAC
Lot Number: 1045
Description: 351 graded MS-67, 57 higher at PCGS. Often cited as one of the more attractive motifs within the commemorative series, those accolades only become dramatically intensified when a coin is as pretty as this. The obverse has become positively drenched in greyish mulberry-blue patina everywhere except for a vast splatter of stunning earthy olive tone toward the lower left quadrant. On the reverse, a particularly attractive hue of violet-turquoise splashes widely across the right side, balanced by vibrant, slate-grey towards the left. The visual effects are difficult to explain, but suffice it to say that the Scotsman Cataloger's Choice Award helps emphasize just how much the present viewer likes this coin. Buy it, enjoy it, keep it, and never feel compelled to replace this memorable beauty.
