Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1881, 1885, and 1888, as described
Lot Number: 710
Description: Blackjack Can Collection. With mintages at or well below 10,000, each is a much better date within the Seated Liberty half-dollar series, from a run of eleven years of Philadelphia emissions. 1881 grades VF and must be considered a phenomenally original coin, although the rim shows five intentional digs, and a light pin scratch crosses beneath the eagle's motif. 1885 should grade fine and features gorgeous vintage color, but a modest X has been inscribed in the obverse right field. Finally, 1888 looks like a pretty nice VG example despite evidence of an unimportant old cleaning. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
