Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1826 AU-55, and an 1834 Small Date, Small Letters AU-50, both PCGS
Lot Number: 692
Description: A particularly detailed strike endows the 1826 with about as much detail as one could possibly hope for in a capped-bust half-dollar. This is a terrific coin even if the surface is a trifle laden with deeply shaded jade-grey patina. 1834 shows a fine layer of bone-grey overall, surrounded by a narrow band of flickering gold toning. Another richly detailed and attractive example within this two coin lot.
