Description: Spick'n'Span Collection. Browning-1 is the only pair of dies for 1824/2. Feathery hairlines propagate across the obverse, especially toward the date area, no doubt inspiring the "cleaned" disclaimer. That said, NGC chose not to mention a couple of crooked scratches descending from the bottom of the portrait. Still, bold details will attract suitors for this difficult Redbook entry.
