Lot Title: 1798 Large 8 VG details/damaged, and an 1805 5 Berries VG details/smoothed, both PCGS
Lot Number: 556
Description: Blackjack Can Collection. PCGS notes problems for each within this obsolete silver type pairing, but the appeal of early dimes with some bolder details will prove irresistible to many bidders. 1798 "13 stars reverse" has pleasant enough greyish tone, but a too many tiny digs toward the obverse left have the cumulative effect of "damage" per the slab notation. 1805 has seen smoothing of both obverse fields, and some sort of unknown repair has been disguised by artificial patina. Two coin lot.
