Description: Laurel Roberson Consignment. Ex- Hilt Collection. LM-10 exhibits the "1" in the date adjoining the bottom of the portrait, and the reverse has no inner berries and a single outer berry beneath the left (observed) wing. A small sliver of detail in Liberty's hair appears to have been restored with added metal, followed by a particularly blunt method of cleaning that has scoured the surface with innumerable etched lines. Subsequent retoning brings back at least a semblance of vintage appeal.
