Lot Title: Nearly complete collection of Flying Eagle and Indian Head cents in a Whitman 9402 album
Lot Number: 441
Description: Blackjack Can Collection. Collector appeal: A for the "Good" grade range. 1856 and the 1869/8 slots are the only ones unfilled within this album. What remains aside from that is a collection of coins that have been astonishingly well matched for the G/VG levels, given the consistent, original brown color and well-used details seen throughout. The keys represent a few highlights that might include: 1869 (g+ and perfect), 1870 (G-7), 1871 (G-6 with some trivial residue on the reverse), 1872 (G-6), 1877 (G-6), 1908-S (G-6), and 1909-S (G-6/burnished). Astute collectors who recognize the advantages and the challenges of pursuing such a set in an approachable grade level need look no further for a fantastic kick-start to their small-cents collection.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
