Description: Laurel Roberson Consignment. B-1, BB-231 as an overdate can best be attributed by the reverse, where each "T" has its right serif longer than the left. Curiously dark, ebony-brown patina nearly engulfs the entire coin, yielding a small portion of grey in front of Liberty's chin. The low contrast presentation certainly does not encourage visual sharpness, but bold details emerge under a loupe. The overdate feature can readily be inferred by a serif extending left of the top of the "2".
