Description: Bolender-23 has the "8" in the date firmly joined to the bust, while the reverse counts thirteen arrowheads and nine shafts -- seemingly degenerate arithmetic unless one realizes that the rightmost four shafts feature two arrowheads each. The lavender-grey patina that assumes primary responsibility for the eye-appeal cedes to lighter grey portions atop the design, which helps sharpen the visual boldness. Some light slide marks can been across nearly the entire cheek, and a number of small, innocuous ticks float into the obverse fields. A singular deeper tick flings to the extreme left of the reverse but doesn't really detract.
