Description: Mintage: 7,469. 15 graded AU-53, 17 higher at PCGS. PCGS has only four examples showing at the mint-state level, all of them graded only MS-61, which helps underscore the importance and allure of examples at the about-uncirculated level. Unexpected of a Charlotte product, each side manifests refreshingly sharp detail on the obverse, although the eagle has a rather soft appearance where the finest design elements should be. Slightly recessed broad areas in the field around the eagle's body may represent strikethroughs.
