Description:	Mike Merkel Consignment. An astonishing assemblage of gold coins, the Venezuelan government struck this series to commemorate Indian chiefs of historic note. It is a remarkably modern series by aesthetic standards, made particularly desirable in terms of gold content. Each offers 0.6423-ounce of gold, struck in .900 fineness. One example given a much-too-harsh UNC/damaged assessment is merely a mint-state piece with curious, but limited circular hairlines on the reverse. A single piece sets the bar with the MS-67 grade, three are very-gem MS-66 examples, four MS-65 gems are present, and nine reach the MS-64 grade at NGC. An exquisite collection; eighteen coin lot.
